Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology shows a new way for Through-the-wall radar imaging which is of very high importance in urban warfare. Three dimensional imaging gives more information of the scene compared to the conventional two dimensional. This paper makes use of impulse like signals which suites as best waveform for UWB transmission, and discusses the need for raw radar processing. It extends the back projection approach for three dimensional target imaging. Major part of the clutter is removed by selecting the voxels that were of targets. The selection is done by the received signal strength at that voxel. The threshold limit after normalizing the signal intensity is taken as 0.75. The simulation results show the close resemblance of the three dimensional image to its original shape and this closeness is observed to be as 53 %.en_US
