Abstract: The ultrasonic motors have been wondering researchers for a long time. Due to their noiseless operation, greater power densities and gear free operation, they have been used in many applications in electronic equipment. This paper proposes a new design of pushrods which drastically improves efficiency over the existing ones. The structure of push rods has been optimized to obtain more torque and subsequently improving power output. The paper describes the proposed model and lists all required calculations. With this new model, ultrasonic motors can find applications in wider variety of fields.
