Abstract: This article explores the significance of Soret, Joule heating and Hall effects on the free convection in an electrically conducting Casson fluid in a vertical channel in the presence of viscous dissipation. The dimensional equations which govern the flow are transformed into the dimensionless equations using suitable dimensionless variables and hence found the analytical solution by the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) and also compared with ADMsolution. The non-dimensional heat and mass transfer rates and skin friction profiles against Casson fluid parameter are illustrated graphically with special focus on physical parameters involved in the present study.
