| dc.description.abstract | In block based motion estimation, type of search pattern plays a crucial role in improving the speed and performance of the search. For the High definition (HD) videos, the computational complexity of the full search algorithm is high although it gives better PSNR value. Many Fast search algorithms were proposed which use different shapes of search patterns and give the better PSNR results by decreasing the computations. But these fast search algorithms do not give better results for HD videos as the search range of these algorithms is limited. Therefore, here we propose an algorithm which gives better results with very low loss of PSNR for HD videos and reducing the computational complexity by almost 95%. | en_US |
