| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an approach for implementing Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) on Hadoop MapReduce framework. Although any algorithm can be used for the actual retrieval (provided it can be parallelized), in this paper, we discuss the approach of Local Tetra Patterns (LTrPs). The MapReduce implementation details presented here can be used for most CBIR techniques that involve feature-vector computations and distance measures. | en_US |
