dc.description.abstractThis paper gives the detailed modelling, analysis and application of Open-End Winding Induction Motor (OEWIM) fed from PV source. The proposed configuration is the single stage solution, which takes care of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), DC-AC inversion three-level with V/f control. The proposed system finds application in areas where the grid is not accessible. The simplest and most widely used perturb and observe algorithm is employed for MPPT. It is more efficient, reliable and low cost solution. It requires low value of DC bus capacitor and low voltage switching devices. All simulation results and analysis are presented in this paper using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation results which shows that the performance of the system in both transient and steady state are quite good.en_US
