Abstract: For the past two decades significant research has been conducted on Polymer Modified Asphalt (PMA) mixtures. Polymers can successfully improve the performance of asphalt pavements at different temperatures by increasing resistance to fatigue cracking. thermal cracking and pernanent deformation. Most of the research has been concentrated on the characterization and relative comparison of neat and polymer modified bitumen/modified with plastic waste bitumen. The Researchers found that engineering properties of Polymer Modified Mix largely depend on the polymer type and content. In this study, an attempt was made by using the waste plastic carry bags in shredded form to modify the Asphaltic mix through dry process for evaluation of its stability value through Marshals Mix Design process.
