| Abstract: | A series of 3-(lH-Benzimidazol-2-yl)-chromen-2-ones (3a-g), 3-(8H-imidazo[4',5':3,4]benzo[l,2,C][l,2,5]thiadiazol -7- yl)chromen-2-ones (6a-f) have been synthesized and evaluated for anticancer activity in vitro. The compounds showed very good activity against different tumor cell lines. |
