The spectral and electrochemical studies of ketorolac tromethamine, 1 are presented. 1 undergoes a single step two electron transfer reduction in media of pH < 6.00 and in a two step one-electron reduction in basic media to give a secondary alcohol. 1 is also found to act as a bidentate ligand to give 3. Electrochemical investigations of 1 in non-aqueous media are presented. Relevant electrochemical data such as n, Epc, ipc, αna, koh, D0, etc. are reported.en_US
