dc.description.abstract	2-Aryl-3-(4-(2H-l-benzopyran-2-one-3-yl)-2-thiazolyl)-5-methyl-4-thiazolidinones (3), have been prepared by the reaction of Schiffs bases (2) with 2-mercaptopropionic acid. The Schiffs bases in tum are obtained by the reaction of various aldehydes with 3-(2-amino-4-thiazolyl)coumarins. The compounds 3 have been evaluated for their anticancer and antiviral activity.	en_US
