This manuscript presents Single Stage On-Board charger (SSOBC) for Plugin Electric Vehicles. The widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) hinges on convenient and efficient charging solutions. Unlike a two-stage charger in which power factor (PF) correction and DC Voltage regulation is done using separate controller but here in SSOBC it can be achieved using single controller. The power converter consists of two interleaved boost converters operating at 50% duty cycle is integrated with the full-bridge converter using high frequency isolation transformer. The adaptive sinusoidal single-phase shift (ASSPS) technique is used as a control strategy. The sinusoidal phase shift technique is used for maintaining high PF and the adaptive technique address the high current issue at zero crossing points. The power converter is simulated for 3.3 kW and tested under various load conditions.en_US
