In recent years, many industrial application are using of multilevel Inverters (MLI) which gives best results because of low harmonic content in the output, lesser rate of change of voltage which in turn reduces Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), etc. Out of these Multilevel inverters, SCMLI has numerous advantages such as a voltage boosting capability, higher voltage levels with less number of sources and devices, etc. In this paper, firstly SCMLI operation is studied by using conventional switching (or nearest level control) and additionally a comparative analysis is done by using different modulation techniques on the SCMLI using MATLAB simulationen_US
